Accommodation

Senalala accommodates up to 16 people in eight thatched chalets. It is ideal for family gatherings, corporate team getaways or groups of friends looking for a special and unique experience.

The chalets are a short walk from the central lounge and entertainment area and linked by concrete pathways, providing guests privacy when they desire some quiet time.

Each chalet has two ¾ size beds. The rooms are spacious, stylish and well appointed. The en-suite bathrooms include shower, bath, basin and separate toilet. Each chalet has a view of the waterhole and wilderness area.

The rooms are fully serviced. We provide cotton linen and bedding, bath towels, swimming towels, soap and toilet paper.

Eskom electricity is available including overhead fans in the rooms and numerous plug points (both 2 pin and 3 pin)

The lodge comprises:

• Two outside bomas where guests can enjoy evenings around the fire
• Two braai (barbecue) areas
• A viewing deck overlooking a water hole, with a spotlight
• A relaxing central lounge with Digital Satellite TV and a refreshment station (teas & coffees)
• A bar with large fridge
• Two dining areas
• A swimming pool to cool down during those warm days in the bush
• A spacious and fully equipped kitchen with two gas stoves, a microwave, ice-machine, fridges and chest freezer
• Crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots and pans, cooking utensils and two potjie-pots (no. 4 and no. 8)
• A ramp to assist elderly or partially handicapped guests with easier access into and out of game drive vehicles

The borehole water at the lodge is safe and suitable for drinking but has a higher than average level of calcium. For this reason, we have a water filtration system in the bar area from which you can obtain good quality drinking water. However, if you are particular about your water, we suggest you bring your own mineral water.
